The County of Santa Cruz is seeking a Deputy Director of the General Services Department. Under general direction, the
incumbent assists in the overall administration of the General Services Department over real properties, capital projects, facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance programs. The incumbent coordinates inter-divisional activities including project management for facility remodels, fleet and parking operations oversight, custodial and facility maintenance. If so, read on! Salary: $156,125 - 209,310 Annually

Any combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge and
abilities is qualifying, unless otherwise specified. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities
would be:
Possess and maintain valid California Class C Driver's license.
Building Construction
Facilities, Capital Projects, Real Property Management Services
Equivalent to graduation from college with a major in architecture, engineering, or other related
field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a private or governmental
agency with responsibilities in building construction or facilities maintenance.
A Certified Construction Manager certificate is desirable.
