County Administrator
Description
General Duties: The County Administrator serves as the Chief Administrative and Operating Officer of the county under the general direction of the County Board, ensuring all ordinance/resolutions/ policies of the Board and the laws of the State required to be enforced by the County Board are properly executed. The County Administrator provides cross-functional leadership as operating officer, which is managerial in nature, directing all assignments and dealing with all county and department related problems.
Salary Range: $119,120.98 to $166,774.40
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in public administration, business administration, or related field, and seven years’ experience in local government and five years management experience or any combination of BS degrees. Minnesota driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications: County administration experience, or city management experience. A master’s degree in public administration or related field, 10 years’ experience in local government management.
